ArchBang 2011.11 is out in the wild!!

You don’t need it if you already have AB installed on your system :P

-PCMan File Manager over Thunar File Manager

-Xcompmgr-dana over Xcompmgr

-Recent Files pipemenu added

-New keybind to read the upgraded DOC

-Progress bar while copying files

-Better font rendering

-New look

-Smaller iso

Notes:

-You can always build Arch w/ Openbox from scratch by following my guide to help you

-If you don’t like the black & gray system tray icons, remove the following line in tint2rc:

‘systray_icon_asb = 100 -100 -25′

-If you have 2 network manager icons, remove ’(sleep 3 && /usr/bin/nm-applet –sm-disable) &’ in Preferences>Openbox>autostart

ArchBang 2011.11 is this year’s last release!

As of next year, the name format will change from ArchBang YYYY.MM to ArchBang SEASON-YYYY so the next release will be ArchBang Spring-2012 on March 21st 2012
